Every time another Neil Young, remastered or lost tapes live concert is released I tell myself that I've got all the songs on other albums, which is probably true as I now have 58.
Then I end up buying it. Below are some recent examples.
While looking for something new I went back in time to the late 60's to Jeff Beck's Truth & Beck-Ola, great albums, then to the early 80's for Little Steven and Sade. OK Sade wasn't new to me!
Started all because I was going through my vinyl collection (don't own a record player) and remembered the smooth jazz blues soul sound, downloaded Diamond Life, still really good after 34 years, worth a play when feeling melancholy or just relaxing.
Been listening to MM since the 1990's, thought I'd check out his latest release Heaven Upside Down, then added Born Villain to my collection, now 11 albums, still missing The High End Of Low (2009).
Still enjoy the music and his cutting lyrics, both albums are very good, more plays needed before rating.
Both albums have their moments, let down by some songs that are a throwback to the 1980's Pop Rock. Good if you like that genre, just not hard rockin' & raw for me, still enjoyable though!
