Singles The UA Years (1987) My favourite era of the Feelgoods, with Wilco & Lee Brilleaux, producing some brilliant British R & B. A High rating of 4.50. | Chess Masters (2000) I think it's an OK album, not great, a fair 3.00 rating. Below a review on Amazon. This is by far the worst album ever made by an outfit called "Dr. Feelgood". First, there's no Dr. Feelgood anymore. There's not a single original member in this band. I think they are cheating the fans. Pretending to be something which they aren't. Dr. Feelgood is a thing of the past. This CD has been recorded with the new "singer" Robert Kane. He, of Animals II fame! This is the absolut low point in the history of this band. A singer who can not sing for the life of him. The way he delivers these songs? Bad, bad, bad! The band itself is in fine form, but Robert Kane drags it down until one can't listen to the cd. "Suzie Q" must rank as the worst cover version of this song ever. And the rest doesn't fare much better. If you want good Dr. Feelgood stuff (the real Dr. Feelgood, that is), buy anything by the Lee Brilleaux led band and forget about these born again r'n'b'ers.
