Did like, Little Freddie King - Chasing Tha Blues & Elmore James - Slide My Blues (had most of the songs anyway).
Bob Brozman - A Truck Load Of Blues - To me, most is Hillbilly Blues very 1930's folk with mix of Hawaiian, bad R&B, track 5, Old Dog Blues & then track 9 Come One In My Kitchen are OK the rest are not to my taste, This guy is trying to sound like he's living in the 1930's with a rough vocal overlay, nothing original!
Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown - No Looking Back - Starts bluesey with bad guitar with a background brass and disolves into a mix of swing, jazz and mediocre tunes, rate this as 0/5. This is the 2nd CGB album I have and dislike both of them!
Bob Dylan - Tempest - Dylans voice is fu*ked, thats' why all his songs are of a slow tempo, the vocals are a joke, he should retire, dreadful, dreadful album.
The Sugars - The Curse Of The Sugars - Not sure yet, starts OK with Black Friday, not bad. 2nd track - Unnamed Duet - good track!
Next few tracks are growers, liked Heaven Knows.
Then Mama, what a load of pop pish! Just dreadful musically and lyrics.
Recovered with "Gossip" and "Way To My Heart" good tracks.
This is definitly growing on me. More and more a White Sripes sound. apart from the female voice, she is so flat & nasal, spoils the album a bit in my opinion.
