Genre - Blues

Notes - WILL WILDE - RAW BLUES (2013)
Deserves a heads up, an amazing album of blues harp playing.
Will Wilde tops my all time favourite harp player Charlie Musselwhite, didn't think that was possible.
Best harmonica blues artist I've ever heard, amazing!
Rating - Raw Blues with 4.95.
Bourbon Street (2014)
Link to web page.
Award winning debut album from this British blues sensation, amazing talent and a hot lady.
Loving all the songs from the Dixie blues of Bourbon Street to the funky blues sound on Lost Girl and all the rest, 14 tracks with no fillers.
Excellent debut record my rating a lofty 4.90.
Go to YouTube to check out more, well worth it.
Black Space Riders
Heavy, psychedelic, hypnotic, metallic, acid, groovy SPACE-ROCK from far beyond.
What tops WOW? Awesome, Brilliant all are appropriate, an amazing album of rock songs, all nine are gems.
Exceptional rock music!
Sunshine Road (2011)
Debut album from Owen Campbell, thirteen tracks of acoustic rock blues.
Impressed with the whole album, sounding like a delta blues man, but no! An Australian from Canberra.
A strange track - War in The East, an Indian sounding instrumental, actually quite good.
As for the other 12, exceptional storytelling blues.
Great voice, songs & music. Back to back plays, always a good sign.
Better Than Home (2015)
Must admit I'm a big fan of Beth Hart, have all seven of her solo albums, also three collaborations with Joe Bonamassa.
Great distinctive voice, singing some original blues songs, just love it all, a joy to hear.
The album of 13 tracks has a mix of blues ballads and rockin' tunes.
Sonic Soul Surfer (2015)
First play, was overawed, another masterpiece!
Seventh studio release, if you can call it that, recorded in the front room of his farmhouse, always loved the simplicity of production on all albums, from Cheap (2004) to Sonic Soul Surfer.
Along with the rolling, rocking and stomping songs, there are some wonderful ballads of americana music, akin to my fav Seasick track Underneath A Blue And Cloudless Sky from the album You Can't Teach An Old Dog New Tricks.
There's 12 outstanding songs & I love every one of them, just superb.
Rating 4.99. Nearly perfect.
Kellie Rucker - Blues Is Blues (2010)
Kellie Rucker was an unknown artist to me before James shared this incredible collection of Blues Rock songs.
My first impression of "Blues Is Blues" was WOW.
Superb playing, harp, vocals and lyrics combine to make this an amazing album.
Fantastic opening track, Mississippi Rain sets the scene for 13 tracks of top quality songs, Love & War, Church Of Texas & Kiss Me blew me away!
This is a faultless album.
Tony Joe White - Hoodoo (2013)
Deep moody blues to start with, got my interest straight away. With 6 previous albums in my collection, wasn't disappointed with Hoodoo.
TJW has done it again, another class album.
Nine original tracks of the best "Low Down" blues I've heard recently. Just love it.
