First influence
1971 Led Zeppelin - 1V (untitled forth album)
One my sisters records, she only had 3 LPs, Abbey Road - Beatles, Top of the Pops & LZ4.
Was ill in bed for a week and played this over and over and still love it. My eureka moment, pop was crap & the Beatles were trying to be, who knows, never a big fan.
Led Zeppelin was my rock education, went to Knebworh 1979, blown away, my all time favorite band.

First album bought
1972 Black Sabbath - Volume 4
Think this cost me £4.99 in 1972, bought it 20 years later on CD for £4.99 digitally remastered.
My first concert 1974 Edinburgh Odeon, Black Oak Arkansas were the support band, even bought their LP Hot and Nasty. Sabbath were brilliant, small venue with Tony Iommi ear bursting surround sound 120dB.
